Welcome to Overall Traveller

My name is Ines, and I’m excited to welcome you to my travel blog, Overall Traveller! I started this blog just before setting off on a backpacking trip through South America, hoping to keep my family and friends updated on my adventures.

During the week, I work a 9-to-5 job. But on weekends, you’ll often find me hiking in the mountains, camping under the stars or embarking on my next road trip.

I grew up in a small town in northern Italy, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Dolomites.

This is where my love for the outdoors blossomed. But, it was only through photography and my first camera that I truly began to explore the outdoors. It all began by capturing the stunning landscapes that have always been my backyard. Since then, I’ve embraced new adventures in Europe, South America and Asia, each adding depth to my journey.

One of my most transformative experiences was an 8-day trek to Huayhuash, in Peru. The stunning landscapes brought me to tears. Not just from the physical challenges but from the sheer beauty and sense of accomplishment. Each day presented new vistas, from towering snow-capped peaks to crystal-clear glacial lakes, and the connection with nature was deeply moving. In 2022, after exploring the vibrant landscapes of South America, my partner and I made the exciting move to Vancouver, Canada.

Now, I’m eager to dive into the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. The landscape is rich of majestic mountains, lush forests, and breathtaking coastlines. From the serene trails of the mountain ranges to the rugged beauty of the coastline, there’s so much to discover.
