Three Essentials for Planning Your USA Road Trip
- Choose a Route: Decide if you want a round trip or a point-to-point journey. Consider factors like airfare, car rental options, and the travel time between major sights.
- Rent a Car: Book a rental car at least a month in advance to secure a good rate. Don’t forget comprehensive insurance for peace of mind on the road.
- Reserve accommodation: If your route takes you through popular destinations, especially national parks like Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, or Yosemite, book accommodations early. For a more flexible and budget-friendly option, look into camping. Some campgrounds operate on a first-come, first-served basis, while others allow reservations.
